As a mother with lived experience in nursing and pumping and with extensive experience in maternal and child health, this course was excellent at many levels: it equips professionals with the much needed soft skills and knowledge, it takes the Indian context into account and it takes a balanced, gentle approach so that a professional is at a good place to guide a birthing parent through one of the most vulnerable stages in their life.
